Another three dates added to my dansco album. Now I have 14 halves and my album is looking much better  1949D, 1952D, 1954D   |

Hmmmm, I recognize those coins. LOL Glad they found their way safely to their new home. You should take a pic of the Dansco so we can see than all together.

LOL... thanks Don for the trade. I am waiting for others to be received. I think by the 10th of November so I will wait till then and I will take a pic of the album. It will look much better with less holes to fill  |

It will look much better with less holes to fill I have added 9 other dates to my set and filled more holes  These are the dates that I added 48-49-50D-51S-52-52S-53-53S-54S As I promised this is how my album look like after I filled those holes.   I became serious about collecting this set at the beginning of this year and now I only have 12 holes to complete this set. I think I did well regarding that I live in Egypt  |

I am very impressed with your progress. To be able to collect that many Franklin half dollar coins in less than a year and you being in Egypt makes it more impressive. |

 growing up I had a pen-pal in Japan, wrote 2-3 letters then I lost interest. Not counting the US: so far I have bought and traded coins with other CCF members in Israel, Turkey, Egypt, Australia, Western Australia, Netherlands, and Canada. And stories about conflicts in Israel and the middle-east, have my full attention now that I know people in harms way.   |

Great set so far, similar to mine but I live in the US and was able to get most from circulation long ago. With the last five places in your Dansco you could get some proof examples, they are my favorite especially the cameo's.

I was thinking to fill those holes with an one example of each other type of US halves; Seated, Barber, Walking, a proof Franklin and Kennedy halves. This would make the album look great |
