Nice BigApple. $2.29 (today) for a scratched up dime bad. The tray at my Coinstar has been empty the last few passes I've made but I keep looking.

I get halves like that dime once in a while. I always wonder how the heck they get so destroyed.

I think coins which look like that dime are probably road coins-- dropped in a parking lot, run over scores of times, and eventually picked up.

Been awhile since I found anything aside from a chewed up Zincoln, but yesterday netted me a clad State Quarter and a 1943 Mercury dime. The dime was face up right in the middle of the little tray. Third silver coin (all dimes) I've found in Coinstar reject trays!

Woohoo! Finally found something in the coinstar. Found a British twenty pence and a chewed up 1985 penny. Feels good to finally find something though!
