It is only $67.39 at SGB. Is it a good price to buy?

Certainly a better price than this one on ebay!

I saw a few go for over $90, but $187?! That's insane!

@Fat Freddy
Not sure where in the US has them. If you look at the beginning of this topic, you'll see that this coin was exclusive to Lear Capital (http://www.learcapital.com/polarbearcoin.html) who claim to be the sole US distributor of this coin. I'd try them, but I think you have to buy a tube at a time. Some Canadian sites like GateWest and Colonial Acres have them, I think they have reasonable shipping to the US.

Colonial Acres has them for 66.49 plus $8 shipping.
Nice price.

But can't believe in this:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/1-5-OZ-2013...em337dd5ed0c

The seller is good, made not a few purchases from him for reasonable price. When he first time listed this coin, offered him $65 + shipping, but he was sure, that will get more.

Has anyone else been watching this one at C/A?

Over the past week, it appears to be selling reasonably well as they put up 100 coins at a time and they last about two days. Today alone, they've sold 40 with a price just below $65.

Yeah, it seems like these went from rare to plentiful. Remember when they first came out everyone was all panicky about if us Canadians would be able to even get these? Doesn't seem to be a problem now, of course no one knows how many were made.

Yes, I ordered from them one coin 2 days ago, for $65
Will see, how it looks in hands, and probably will buy 1-2 more.

$65 it is nice price and I do not think, that it will be selling for much less.

Picked one up from C/A on the 20th:

2013 1.5oz. Canadian Polar Bear Silver Coin (TAX Exempt) 1.5oz Polar Bear $65.95.

It's a smart looking coin.

I am wondering how many CCF US members are interested in this coin? I am sure if one of us ordering a roll of 20 or 25 then re-sell to fellow member at $68/coin (Lear Capital price) + $3 for the effort + shipping (about $2)... that would run a total of $73, which is even cheaper than ebay.... a win win situation. I personally think it's very reasonable.

Too bad, the forum policy doesn't address the "taking order" approach otherwise I don't mind doing it for US CCF members.
Rest in Peace

That auction was created by two uneducated ebayers. One guy says to him/her self "I really want that coin, so I'll put in my 'max reserve' bid of $200".

Next guy/girl says I really want it... here's my bid... darn... out bid by $2.50.. I'll bid again... and again.... and again...

So, whether he wanted to or not, that first guy got the coin. I bet he/she regrets putting up some ridiculous reserve amount now!

I suspect that the buyer has ever paid. This seller tends to leave feedback once the buyer paid for the item. But there was no exchange of feedback for this one. Perhaps deal gone sour?
