I got a package at the PO today which puzzled me. It was from a part of the country I don't usually get correspondence from. And what the heck is "SS of CCF"? (duh!) Finally figured it out! When I opened the package there were two presents in there, one for my kids, and one for myself. I though "Yay, I got a computer mouse!" - because my present was shaped like this: Of course as soon as I unwrapped it I figured that was no mouse: The kids' present will wait for them to come back from the grandma, they'll be excited to open it. Thank you very much, SS of CCF, for your very thoughtful and generous gift! Merry Christmas!

A holographically colorized Canadian maple leaf that has chinese characters on the COA and the reverse holography. There must be a story there.

Those are the only mint sets that I got, I just decided to lay each "sheet" on top of my keyboard to show them off...RIGHT! You may be asking about the coins in the flips. They are, from left to right: 1911 Liberty V nickel, 1910 Barber dime, 1953 Swiss 1/2 Franc, 1935 Buffalo nickel.

Just in case my Santa is wondering. Santa, I know you're out there. Don't worry that I haven't gotten it yet, since I won't be back home from Texas until the third of January.

Holy smokes....secoinedchance is so blinded by the Canadian forums that he never ventures out into the main forums....lol. My secret Santa sent me a Canadian $20.00 bill with the serial #1872H2781......he he! Just kidding. Nah, he sent a 4 digit non-radar repeater that I think is pretty darn cool. And yes, I, through some incredibly difficult detective work, figured out who it was and sent him an email thanking him profusely...but just in case he missed it,
Thank you secret Santa!
PS I know my recipient got his too because I sent it registered, but I don't see a post in here. Maybe he has the same problem as I did.....

Just in case my sender is panicking. I am sure everything is OK. I am offshore Mexico right now and I am sure there is something waiting for me at home. That being said my gift went out Priority mail over a week ago and I to am getting a little concerned that the recipient has not marked as received.

Received my secret santa gift yesterday. Three beautiful Canadian coins from JeyRey2000 - a 1950 penny, a 1964 quarter and a 1982 Constitution dollar! Thanks so much for making my first CCF secret santa exchange a memorable one - the coins are much appreciated and fit in with my collection nicely!
And to my secret recipient - glad the gift arrived ;)

Christmas is finally here and I got to open my Secret Santa gift. It's a beautiful proof George Washington Commemorative Half Dollar in the original mint packaging. It is a welcome addition to my small but slowly growing collection of commemorative coins. Thank you Secret Santa and all the blessings of Christmas to you and your family. And thank you CCF (and Rggoodie) for hosting this wonderful exchange every year.

I did not participate in the CCF secret santa, however I will definitely do so next year. Although, I arranged a secret santa exchange at work, and since everyone knows I'm obsessed with coins (and makes fun of it) my gift was $20 worth of un-searched pennies ! haha best gift ever, I already went through them...and nothing great, but it was fun!
