Opened my package and found a nice 1909-D Barber quarter and a worn date Three Cent (silver). The Barber quarter is a great add for me as I only have a couple and I can see the Three Cent coin headed to my son's next show-and-tell class. Thank you Secret Santa; your gift is truly appreciated. Thanks also to the host of this event. |

I opened my Secret Santa gift this morning and found a beautiful crisp, red seal, 1953A two dollar bill  ....and.......a beautiful quarter ounce walking Liberty silver round!  Two gifts that are right up my alley!! Very thoughtful. THANK YOU VERY, VERY MUCH SANTA !!! |

That's it, tornandfrayed75 - "thoughtful." Every one of Santa's helpers put a lot of thought into what gift to send. Not as easy as it sounds. OneBowl, There is a tie between the Three Cent piece and the new, lower rate postage stamp. To facilitate the purchase of a Three Cent stamp, both the Three Cent and the three dollar gold piece were issued. A few pictures of the stamp and gold would make a nice contribution to your son's "show and tell" presentation. To see just how small a Three Cent piece is will make the kids excited. "Oh, and here is a real Three Cent piece." I remember the term "fish scale" being used to describe them. Apt description. Yes! A virtual round of Foster's in rggoodie's honor. "It's beeeeeer!" (So the commercial said.) |

I was out of town for a week and a half, I just got in. I showed up with a mailbox full of Christmas cards and a package with three Mercs, a SWEET 64 half, and a nice '10 set of halves. My secret santa did some research on me.... "good luck with your hunting" they know me too well :)

Awesome to see the gifts rolling in. I think I used my work address in this year's exchange, so it will be next week before I see what has shown up, so my Santa should not worry.

I opened mine on Christmas day. I got a 2002-P Mississippi quarter in an MS67 PCGS slab, a 2007-D Washington dollar in a NGC B.U. slab and three raw proof LMC cents. Thanks Chris12018! |
