For a change, I think I actually prefer the old coin to the new one. For my type set, at least, I'd prefer a cleaned coin with AU details to a non-cleaned one with lesser details.

Usually over your upgrades. However, the eye appeal of the cleaned coin is much better. imo....

Then again I'm building an album set. I may feel differently were I doing a "slobbed" set.

That is what makes this hobby great! A difference of opinion. I would rather have a "problem free" coin (and a "CC" to boot) than a details coin.

The eye appeal of the previous would fit fine in my set but you cannot argue to appeal of a "cc" coin.
