Did ICCS put anything in the comment, like "Bank of Canada Reserve" or any kind of pedigree notice?

That's a good question. I am also wondering if it says Hand Select vs Premium Hand Select.

Quote: 30 Coins! That is a lot of money to spend on coins. It would cost tens of thousands of dollars. You put a bold font on the " 30 coins", but the key-word here " I have viewed". But if tripoli really bought 30 coins of BoC hoard I am only happy for him. Congrats for the $10 PHS grade, tripoli

Just to clarify: between my coins via mail order, 3 visits to the Vancouver RCM boutique store, J&M Coins and last weekend's coin show, I have viewed the following: 1912 $10 about 16 1913 $10 about 15 1914 $10 about 25... I have viewed far fewer $5 coins, but I was able to cherry pick the nicest of the 1912's that I saw, except for the superior one in a premium SET, and the $5 all looked nicer in the premium set. I am very happy with the grades, although NOT surprised.....my 1914 is far superior to the NGC or PCGS coins offered on ebay etc....

No worries, gold will rebound. Anyone who has bought these coins will make money on them. There is no doubt about that. Myself, I will keep them no matter what happens to gold value.

Quote: Did ICCS put anything in the comment, like "Bank of Canada Reserve" or any kind of pedigree notice? Apparently they did not as seen in the pictures. If I were to choose a grading company, I will not use ICCS. There is nothing to distinct them from regular 1912-1914, which devalues the coin in my opinion.

@moneypenny: it's quite obvious on the ICCS flips they have printed "ex-Bank of Canada". They have also returned the capsules with their holograms to me. I would rather have the ICCS grades rather than the overly generous PCGS or NGC grades.

I just wished that ICCS used nicer looking labels and packaged the coins in slabs.

If ICCS send you back the holograms with the capsules, couldn't someone repackage a non-hoard coin and sell them without the COA. That would really screw up the market.

ICCS slices the hologram stickers on the capsules, rendering them useless.
