interesting. I wonder how much RCM will charge on these coins. 50% over spot? the $5 coin at 600 and the $10 will be 1200?

I hope they are not crazy expensive, what ever they are. With these prices, I'd might as well collect cars.

Are the CCN trends for the $5 and$10 Gold coins accurate?

Are they high or low or right on?

Makes you wonder how many more of those "old" coins will be "discovered" in the future.

A few dozen rolls of 1948 BU Silver Dollars perhaps?

Someone just posted on RFD what he says is the offering.

The minimum price is $500 and maximum is $12k. Too rich for my blood, especially this time of year. :(

CC - you're close on that note. The Mint is already offering vintage coins on one of their subscription series:

I received an email and actual mail from the post office that was sent from the mint. It had 5 silver dollars from decades ago. I checked my local coin shop and found the prices there were much cheaper than the mints. Odd that they keep tripping over old coins everyone thought had been melted years ago

The email I received from the Mint a few days ago said, "Please watch your inbox for an announcement LATE in the day on November 28."

It still early morning, November 28.
