Lol, it seems that it is a 'box bug' instead of 'box sold out'! Lets see weather our orders, which have been placed before the announcement, can be fulfilled.

in general

but take a look, please, at my post - they updated the website.

And those offers:
"Large Case with first coin" - previously
and
"Buy 6 coins and get free box" - current

just do not "sit" properly together

In bottom line:
The orders were put to the system, inetersting to see what GW will do with them.

well, they updated the website again with "2013 Large Case with FIRST SIX 'O Canada Series' Proof $10 Silver Coins .9999 Fine" but not available this time. I think they just realize the mistake and manage to correct it. Pay attention to the item # 13130 which is the same as "2013 Large Case with First 'O Canada Series' Proof $ 10 Silver Coin .9999 Fine"

I hope Gatewest honors the orders. Otherwise, I will cancel mine. I was never interested in the series, but I do like to have that big case for my other 1/2oz coins.

Same item number and it's changing by the minute but currently says..

"2013 Large Case with FIRST SIX 'O Canada Series' Proof $10 Silver Coins .9999 Fine
This item will be offered for purchase in June 2013.

Not available at this time."

But it you click on the item is says "Please call us to place an order and to confirm availability." And the price is now $119.95 which is of course only three coins.

Well,

now all seems correct:
or buy 6 individual coins and can request "Large case", or make a "prepaid" order (item #13130, which we ordered as "Large Box") for CAD 119.85 - 3 coins - and get a free box.

And it available "By phone" with "Low availability"

We are all loyal GW customer and I doubt GW will displease us because of free boxes. In addition, they adjust the price but remain the item number. To me, it means they will honor the previous orders.

But who knows...lets see...

I received the confirmation email with # right after I placed my order. Will file a big complaint if they reject it...lol...

To make it more confusing, GW's website says that:

"Any customer purchasing the first 6 (January through June) individual coins from Gatewest or Albern can request with their order for the 6th coin (Wolf) to receive the special large 13-coin case at that time."

http://store.gatewestcoin.com/cgi/v...57e77E29V784

13-coin case? The subscription is for 12 coins... does that mean those who completed the subscription will get a bonus coin or medallion?
So far how the coins arrange inside the box is still unknown, the photo at Mint's case show complete darkness for the case interior.....

To Shopaholic:

did you cancell both your subscriptions on RCM?

I believe, that it mistake on GW with "13-coin case", but who knows...

So for this, the RCM subscription is the best, and additional box - still good deal with GW - prepaid order.

Remains to be seen what they do but the T&Cs that we agree to when purchasing basically gives them the option to do whatever they want - very detailed and totally favour the seller. Confirmation number means nothing. That said, it would not be in their best interest to PO a bunch of us... lol

I suspect the reference to 13 coin case is just another website error.

To Silveroid: I didn't cancel my RCM subscriptions, I kept both. Base on the photos I think I like the first 3 coins anyway, also I like RCM's exchange policy. Not sure about GW's exchange policy if the coin have any imperfection.

For the 13-coin case... I really hope there will be some goodies for those who complete the subscription, especially given the delay that will take place :) I have heard that those who completed the Vignettes of Royalty series (2009) got a copper King Edward VIII medallion. That kind of goodies is what I like.

I'd like to seek your clarification here again for my confusion. What can exactly the Max mintage of the coin be, 40,000 or 80,000? I have similar question for Group 7 and until now I do not figure out that it should be 7,000 or 14,000.

Max mintage is 40000 for each coin.. so if there are 10000 subscriptions, then only 30000 of each coins will be available for sales as individual coin.
