I know you guys are going to slam me for my comment. I love these smackdowns and enjoy seeing everyones coins, and could care less if I win or not. My problem is that they are lasting way too long before we move on to the next one. This current smackdown has gone on for 9 days and it will probably go another day until the results are in and we move on to the next smackdown. I think we need to make a limit on how long they go. Just my Two Cents for whatever it's worth.

My bad... I had a typo in the end date, with the end supposed to be yesterday night. I was very, very busy yesterday, so I didn't have time to finish last night. I'll tally the votes now

At the rate of 9 days for a Smackdown from beginning to end there would be 40 in a year. That's a lot of topics! At 7 days, it would be 52 topics. We can show coins, or ask to see coins, anytime we want without the Smackdown format. Posting images and voting both take time. I'd like the duration of the Smackdowns to be long enough for likely participants to have the time to participate and some are very busy people. Maybe that is an argument for having the posting interval span at least part of a weekend. Ending Saturday late would allow time to post and voting beginning Sunday would allow time to note all the entires and come to a voting decision. Maybe I am talking myself into supporting 7-day durations. Voting Sunday and Monday. Winner decided and the new host decides on a new topic Tuesday. Post through late Saturday. Repeat.

I'm indifferent to the length of time. I'll go with the consensus.
