Pics are TERRIBLE, but here are a few from my collection, including a slabbed F-20 Buffalo 3 legs, a 1797 cent, early Half Cents, $10, $5, $2.50 Indian Golds, $2.50 Liberty, and $1.00 princess golds, Twenty Cent, and 2 cent as well as Three Cent Silver. A few of my better ones. Again my apologies for the terrible images.

Try using the flower mode on your camera. Received that advice from other members here and it really makes a difference.

On some cameras, it's called the "macro" mode or setting. I have also had some success taking pictures with a loupe held up to the lens. From what I CAN see, your collection looks nice

Thank you. I will try to get some better pictures and play with those modes tomorrow afternoon.

I'll try to get you a good pic tomorrow I am gonna call it maybe VG at best, but full date, and if I can get a good focus, it's a nice looking coin. The only "1700"'s in my collection, but I wanted something from that era of coinage.

Nothing wrong with that. One thing I learned...There are thousands who would aspire to just own that one $2.50 1912 someday, and thousands more who never will have the opportunity. Enjoy the piece, it's a great investment coin, and a piece of history.

great collection but stick to slabbed for the expensive coins like the gold coins as their are fakes floating around and you can be easily taken

#1 I can't be easily taken, #2 I stick with slabs on error coins such as the Buffalo 3 legs. You don't need to slab gold if you know your sources ( in my case a dealer and personal friend who also sells to HSN ), and if you know your market. The only time I would ever consider slabbing gold would be on a $3 or rare type piece. There are enough Indian $10, $5, and $2.50's out there for everyone.

Very nice assortment of coins. It appears some of your photos were taken with the camera either too close or too far from the coin which causes the image to be out of focus. If you hold down the button, but not quite enough to take the snapshot, it should auto focus the image on most digital cameras. Move the camera closer or further away to find the closest you can get and still be in focus. Good pictures of coins takes practice, lots of practice and eventually you'll get the hang of it.
