Chriscoinz Valued Member United States 312 Posts	Posted 07/01/2015 11:52 am I only search pennies and occasionally nickels now, but I found a 1893 IHC not too far back, and quite recently I found a 1912 D penny in G-4 condition. My oldest nickel find would be a very worn nickel from 1924. Awesome finds everybody! :D Report this Post to the Staff

By the way, what's the best technique for getting mixed coin rolls rather than newer rolls? I'm sure a relationship with bank tellers is helpful, but other suggestions? still lookin Pillar of the Community 967 Posts	Posted 05/29/2017 11:50 pm The best technique for getting mixed coin rolls rather than newer rolls is probably to switch banks for picking up coins. I have three different banks that I get change from. One bank uses a carrier that normally has new solid date rolls. One bank most of the time has boxes of circulated coins brought in by the carrier. The other I just get the bags from the coin counting machines. No telling what you will get in them. It is usually a decent mix. Still Lookin Report this Post to the Staff
