in my experience its not always bad when something goes wrong. I was buying uncirculated ATB'S from I think dragons coin chest or coin closet or something back in 2010. and their was flooding in new jersey or wherever they were from and they didnt send them out on time and it took along time, I cant remember the details, but they ended up giving me a few for free out of the deal because of the "trouble".

I will always remember an ebay sale I had for an 1885-CC NGC MS65 Morgan dollar that listed for around a grand. A buyer won the coin and I mistakenly shipped him an 1886-S in the same grade...just a busy day and a dumb mistake..

The buyer had a little nutty and banged me off a couple of emails that I had substituted a different coin. I told him I was sorry and shipped the correct coin to him and he returned the MS65 1886-S to me...all was fine

BTW...the 86-S was worth at least 3 times what the 85-CC was worth.

You shipped him a $3000 coin instead of a $1000 coin and he complained?

Sounds like just another day in the soap that is ebay mistakes will always be made people will always over react. And I'll waste several minutes of my life reading the train wreck that results. Perhaps waste is a little harsh as I was entertained enough to get to the end. The value of the items is not really relevant here, a mistake seems to have been made but enough time to resolve the situation has not passed before judgement was made.
