welder Pillar of the Community United States 1037 Posts	Posted 02/02/2013 8:48 pm The white boxes that rolls and bags are packed in from the Mint, is it important to keep these boxes? What about opening them up to see or confirm your Mint purchase? How does this affect the value of the contents? If the boxes are not too important, I can save a lot of room because that take up quite a bit of space. Report this Post to the Staff

ghostrider Pillar of the Community United States 1116 Posts	Posted 02/02/2013 11:42 pm When I first started getting coins from the US Mint I opened up the first two that I received and found that they had made an error in the fulfillment of my order. Even though I had the situation corrected without a problem and I have placed many subsequent orders with them without error, I still am concerned about errors and have no problem with opening up the boxes to ensure that I get what I've ordered. So I do believe that their order fulfillment is extremely good, errors can still happen. I now use the boxes to combine my purchases to make storage more manageable. I now follow the trust but verify method of purchasing. Report this Post to the Staff
