I broke down and went against my rule of slabbing coins. I sent 15 to them on 5 day service. Here are the results.

1806 1/2C SMALL 6 NO STEMS C-1 2 DETAILS BENT ( surprised not shocked )
1835 1/2C CORRODED 35 DETAILS ( can't see alot of Corrosion )
1798 1C STYLE 2 HAIR S-175 30 DETAILS CORRODED (assumed 30 as graded )
1864 2C LARGE MOTTO 40
1853 S3C CLEANED 45 DETAILS
1834 10C 4 ( still unsure why I sent this in )
1875 S 20C 10( Think I got low balled on the grade on this one )
1854 1C 20 ( see above comment )
1890 Morgan POLISHED 40 DETAILS ( took a shot )
1856 $1 SLANTED 5 50 ( Great gold piece )
1850 $1 SCRATCHED 50 DETAILS( Slight scratch on a nice gold piece )
1853 $2.50 45 Liberty Gold
1928 $2.50 55 Great looking Indian Gold
1911 $5 35( Think I got low balled on this one also grade wise
1909 $10 POLISHED 50 DETAILS ( Knew it was polished, it's still a great $10 Indian )

Overall happy with the slabs, will add them to the PCGS slabs I have. No coin "buys" today, yesterday I picked up a few lower grade flying eagles, an AU Franklin half, and another 3C Silver.

Have a great weekend fellow hobbyists

I did 5 day service and I got them back in 4 days ( day early ) at $29 a coin. $28 return shipping and cost me $33 to ship plus the insurance.

That's much more reasonable than some of the others. And quick!

They grade tough, but I like the holders, the customer service can't be beat, and yes 4 days you can't beat for $29

That is another reason I have grown to dislike ANACS. The coin came back as an AU50. Obviously it was circulated. Gold being a soft metal would easily scratch if racked across a counter while being picked up to be put into a register when a customer paid for something with it. So why give it a details grade? Just give an AU50 grade and be done with it.

I agree with you. I accept the label, but disagree with their logic sometimes.

It would be a fun experiment to crack it out and send it to PCGS and see if they give it a details grade.
