You need to check your account on the mint's website. If you need further clarification, speak to customer service and they will tell you where you stand. As soon as I became a MC member, I started to see the savings as well as free Expresspost.

I just reached MC status last week with my order of the 1oz. SML. The only way I knew was by logging in. No email or notification for me. They still did charged me shipping on the coin though. I just assume that everything from here on out will be free shipping. If not, I'll be making a phone call.......

If you ordered a coin and automatically because a MC member, you should call the mint and ask for a refund for the shipping costs.

Do you think they'll refund it? I thought because I hadn't officially hit MC status until I purchased the coin then it would be in effect once my limit was actually reached with a billing.

You hit MC status when you made your last purchase. Only way to find out is to call. Call tomorrow morning and verify. Then let us know if you had any success.

You are correct. Everything is automatic. However, when you call the mint and speak to customer service, they have the "tools" to waive and reimburse any shipping fees. As for a rep, it's random. My rep has over 250 clients in her personal database.
Panda, what about the gold fox for $649?

The only negative thing about the gold arctic fox is that the price Is over $70 more than the War of 1812 gold coin. Yes it had a lower mintage and nice finish but yet I haven't seen 1 review. Actually there is 1 review. It's negative with no reason. The War of 1812 gold coin had great reviews. I guess time will tell.

Not all MC members get reps. I've heard this many times.
