I agree with elkslayer132. Duck is a bird in the real world but Mallard coin stands out of the bird series. You can say Acura is Honda Motor but it is not Honda branded.

Quote: If you were to show a layman the bird series and throw in the duck coin they would not be able to pick out the one that does not belong. Layman or blind man? I think you could put it on Sesame Street and start playing the song, "One of these things is not like the other..." (do they still do that?) and a 5 year old would pick out the duck coin!

Quote: But is still not part of the bird series no matter how you put it. You're using fact to justify your reasoning, that doesn't work with this coin. Logically it is the same spec as the previous bird coins, same artist, same style image. It could have been issued as a bird coin so logically it is a bird series coin. Your example is not valid. That's like comparing the silver duck coin to the non-silver one. Same look, same manufacture, but totally different. A better example would be the Nissan Patrol and the Infinity QX57. They are the same vehicle, even if sold under a different series with different names. Same specifications and all the parts from one will interchange with the other. If quacks like and and walks like a duck, its a bird series coin.

Does Mint boutiques has the new coins on display for sale?
I see a PO have some of this new release coins for sale today. (The Orchid Flower coin, and 2 ducks silver coin). Don't see the dragon fly yet.
This also prove PO sometimes have coins on sale even before Mint boutiques.

I really like the display stands better than the clam shell. Can anyone tell me where to buy the display stands? Rox

I, too, like the display stands. They take less space to display than the clamshell cases. Having said that, the COA is nicely displayed in the clamshell case.

Blue flag is an iris, rather than an orchid.

@BiBo How does the two ducks silver coin look? Is it impressive? Thanks.
BTW, I believe PO will never get set but single coin, right? So you did not see the box with duck call I guess.
