That's odd... There are fewer duck coins on its own than a subscription. Why is that? Usually it's the opposite.

As proof for what I saw and discuss here yesterday, there is a member on other forum also see some of the new coins at the post office today.
Do these 2 post offices (or even more) make the same mistake by putting the coins on display or for sale before the public release day?

Is there anyway to order the duck subscription without being part of the MC? Or would I have to wait for public release ?

Quote: Is there anyway to order the duck subscription without being part of the MC? Or would I have to wait for public release ? In the past, some folks who are not MC have reported that they have called the mint and ordered MC release coins before general release. It's worth a phone call if you don't want to wait until next week.

Call the Mint. I did the same previously and was lucky in 2 cases of 3. Just tell them that you know, that coins were released. Do not mention MC / not-MC...
Have a good luck

@ sunfish - Let me know if you have luck by calling in. I see you're in Toronto and I work in Toronto so I would be willing to order one for you and just cancel it if you are able to get one yourself.

I appreciate the offer soul brother and suggestions, still contemplating whether I should spend more on coins as I just purchased a Nuthatch. Limited funds for this month.

I hear you. February was an expensive month. In addition to the mint release I also bought the first 2 Go7 coins (wish I had started collecting in time to have subscribed to the series) and the box for $150 + shipping.

I just pre-ordered the 50 cent roll and the 1/25oz bald eagle...trying reign in the spending...but it's tough when the mint keeps releasing new products!
