The crack-out artist coinhappyrcm has an 1806 Half Dollar 0n ebay, item #171002013413:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/171002013413

seller claims, "problem-free and never cleaned". Yet, PCGS has a differing opinion:

Perhaps when this crack-out artist broke the coin out of its VF-CLEANING holder, it became un-cleaned.

What amazes me even more is that it's going for $250.00 more. However, the most amazing thing is that everyone gives him good feedback. Lots of money to be made for unethical people. That's why I almost always buy slabbed.

Amazing it is currently at $900 with 46 bids and 30 minutes to go. Somebody is going to get buried in this one.

Interesting the "new" seller even mentions it's in a holder?! Clearly it's the PCGS Genuine holder they bought it in. I assume it will ship raw and must admit, it is a light cleaning.

Are you using images search engine or just having a photographic memory :) ?

What exactly are "full skirt lines" on a Draped Bust half dollar?

When somebody has no life. like me lol, I look at soo many coins and on many of them, certain things stand-out. In this case, I was doing research on pricing my 1806/5 Half Dollar, and I came across the PCGS problem coin, and I could see, in his pics, the PCGS distinctive plastic prongs and matched the coin.

What's amazing is any experienced collector can see that it's photographed while still being in a PCGS holder (you can see traces of the prongs). Did they not ask to see the entire holder?
