Picked up $37 in pennies at the bank today (74 rolls). The copper hoarders would be drooling if they saw what I searched through because it was 99%+ copper. Almost all the rolls were completely copper and I found a lot of mint state coins mainly from the 1980's. Found 15 wheat cents including a 1939s, 1949s and a 1914. The 39 and 49 are hole fillers which brings my total Wheat cent varieties to 100! Also found 4 British new pennies and 4 British 1/2 pennies which I had never seen before. Canadian finds were 1940, 1941, 1942, 1943, 1947ML, 1950, 1951, 1952(3), 1953(2), 1956, 1957(3) and 1958(2). Found tons from 1960-1964 and 20 1967's with one in nice condition.

Looks like I lucked out again at my new penny mine. Picked up two more boxes of pennies which appear to be previously sorted by year for me, including many rolls of solid copper. Last box I found some nice BU's. I'll update when done.
Good finds o-train! I have been having lots of luck with pennies after a long dry spell. Cents from the 1920s, 30s, 40s, 50s to the present in the last few weeks, as well as a 1910 and 1918 wheat!

Nice finds. George V cents are very elusive for me. They seem a lot harder to find than even wheat cents from comparable years. I think it is mainly because the design is just so distinctively different that even people not remotely interested in coins will pull them and set them aside. In regards to my earlier post about wheat cents it seems the 1922 no mintmark is from Die Deterioration and is not a true variety as no cents were minted in Philadelphia that year. So I guess the number really is 140.

Thanks cladhunter13. I have the regular 1922 D coin but I received it in a trade not from CRH. Good information on that link regarding counterfeits. I think I will stick to collecting the mint mark varieties and steer clear of any die state varieties.

Got 1 roll of un-searched nickels... 26, 100% nickels.
I did get 9 other rolls, but they've been searched through already...

Picked up a variety of rolls today. Trying to focus on quarters now that I have virtually all the non-key dates for pennies and nickels. So today I got five rolls of quarters, a roll of dimes, and four rolls of nickels. Highlights include: -Five U.S. State Quarters: Louisiana, Georgia, Massachusetts, New York and Pennsylvania. Going to get the album now that I have nine states. -3 rolls which I thought were pre-sorted ARP rolls but in fact were the new arctic quarters fresh from the mint. Opened a roll and now have all four from that release -1953 nickel

Went through another box of pennies. Found another 5 wheat cents from the 40's and 50's. Didn't find as many older Canadian cents. Found a 1957, 1948, 1946 and 1943. Best find by far was a 1953 NSF in fairly high MS grade.

Found another State Quarter today, Oregon. Also picked up $19.50 in pennies. Got more of that penny hoard I've been getting on the instalment plan. So far I have a solid roll of 1969, 1972, 1974 and 1985.
