My pleasure NuMoosematist! Nice avatar too...

Looks like some people already have the $100 bison coin in hand! This ebay auction displays some nice pics. It really is a beautiful coin:

The CP charges more as they don get a dealer discount, they pay as you do... Face value, why would the mint be handing 15$ out of 100$ for free.

hanks for posting that ebay link, the coin looks great !

As I expected it...I mean, whether or not its 100 for 100, we are still paying $100 for a coin, and for $100, the mint BETTER make the coin look like its worth it.

Funny thing is that there are no auction-type listings out on ebay yet. Just BINs. The auction-type listings help to stir up interest and to determine the value better (what people are willing to pay)...

@ RoyalSilver, I agree that the Mint needed to deliver a $100 coin and glad to see they delivered a class act coin!

Well, to elaborate on my last post, there are auction-type listings but most are at a set price. Found one that started at .99 and is already at $102.00. Much interest thus far!

I for one didn't trash talk it, I actually didn't buy anything else in the May release because I knew this was coming out , well was kinda easy not to buy anything else lol , I do think these coins get will more people collecting coins , its that $100 value on the coin that gets non collectors to take notice , if it cost $300 or more then it wouldn't be such a big hit. But $100 for $100 is great advertising.
