Just a heads up, I just received a confirmation email that the coins have been shipped. So I'm assuming everybody will get theirs next week as well. I really am surprised it sold out so quickly. I can see this coin eventually selling for around $150. I bought 3, but not interested in selling, only for personal collection.

Not likely...must just mean if for some reason a few orders are cancelled or reduced...you can still get one if your on your reps waiting list

I bought two coins. Now I think I should have bought three.

Quote: Not likely...must just mean if for some reason a few orders are cancelled or reduced...you can still get one if your on your reps waiting list I asked the Mint clerk if they were out of stock or producing more and she said that they look for other sources to try to fill orders. So total mintage won't be affected. Also, she made it clear that there was no guarantee that those on the waiting list would receive a coin....

I didn't think this would sell out so fast - I guess If I want one I can pay the $15 more to get it elsewhere.

In the 2012 annual report, statistics showed only (191,804) Farewell to the Penny 20 4 20, (160,781) Reindeer 20 4 20, (174.474) Polar Bear 20 4 20 (180,020) Queen 20 4 20 have been issued in 2012.
Surprisingly, in the 2011 annual report, it states that (244,000) of the first Maple 20 4 20, as well as (198,000) of Canoe 20 4 20 were issued in 2011.
Can someone demystify those numbers?

What is to demystify? Those are the amounts that they successfully sold, no?

@noahs-numismatics the theoretical mintage of the first coin was limited to 200k, while all the rest were fixed to 250k. These statistics show exactly the opposite. Moreover, mint.ca offered free shipping on all the 20 for 20 preceding Reindeer, these coins were all claimed "sold-out" one month after their release.

Maybe they got the first maple and the canoe figures mixed up? As to the rest maybe they had alot of returns and didn't relist them? Shrug, I don't know.
The (160,781) Reindeer has the lowest mintage if that is the case..funny.
