Just wanted to post this latest pickup. An almost complete profile clash on the reverse. Seemed like a good date to have one on...

Hopefully the pics aren't too big, I'll re-size and edit the post if so. Let me know.

Very nice. This kind of a coin leads me to a question. Does the clash add or detract to the value . What ye say?

Don't know about that but it definitely adds to the cool factor.

BlackNWhite: The pics are just right.

Very nice images. I like the two last ones. The quality of your images are the best for a new member. Very nice find. The 2nd obverse image, you can see the clash around the face on it. Something I missed from the first image.

I like dramatic clashes... this is quite a nice one. Very nice photos too! It's hard to take good pictures of large and reflective coins.

I can't take credit for the photos, these are re-sized/cropped sellers images. I was just hoping I they didn't end up too large.

As far as the value, I doubt the clash does much, but it couldn't detract much, surely, it cost $12 shipped. The cheek and Seal are nicked up pretty good, but I didn't want to pass up on the reverse clash.

Thanks for the responses.

Very nice coin. On the front there also is a neat bit of clashing that gives JFK a rhinoceros type horn on his nose. I do not specifically collect errors or clashed dies, but I think having one on the key 40% silver of this set would be great to have.
