Quote: Same here. I got a 1/25 oz gold star fish for $105 from a private seller last month. I've recently picked up 1/25oz timberwolf on ebay.. I regret selling some of my 1/25oz farewell to penny but I'll probably bite the bullet and re-buy one of them back.

From the "For whatever it's worth" department...
When I spoke with the Mint earlier today, I asked if the new Bald Eagle coin was popular. I was told "Yes" but not as popular as the first coin of the series.
Ordering just began, however, so time will tell!

the 1/2oz Silver Horse is beautiful too.
the canopy is weak. the border ruins it. the tree isn't lifelike at all.

Quote: F15 ASE Did you mean - RCM F15 subscription ASE? O Canada subscription coins (didn't get the Niagara coin yet) will order Maple Canopy. Contemporary Art - nice, but will not start another Art series, waiting for the "Traditions of Hunting" next coin. Will wait for Royal coins - maybe design will be done well... Forgot to mentioned: Lunar Lotus Horse, sure will buy it. One of my favorite series, although inconsistency with metal content and the mintage.

Questions on the Silver Dollar Specimen Set.
The printed catalog I received said the traditional circulation coins would be solid alloys.
The website states that the fifty-cent, quarter, dime and nickel are all three ply nickel plated steel.
Which do you think is correct?
Would the toonie and loonie be any different from the regular specimen versions that were included in the other Specimen sets?
If the website is correct, it would seem that the only "new" coin in the set would be the Specimen Silver Dollar.

Interesting. The regular proof set is now downgraded to specimen?
So, FOUR finishes for the annual silver dollar:
* GP Proof (set) * Regular Proof (individual) * BU (individual) * Specimen (set)

Someone else said that silvertown ordered most all the eagles... I'd assume they will show up back for sale again on the Mints site
