At first glance I thought this was PMD, but now I am not so sure. The reason I'm not so sure is because the rim is virtually intact. It almost looks like it was struck through dirt or filings or... well heck, I really don't know. All I know is that the obverse is really messed up and to a much smaller extent the reverse is toward the top and bottom. All opinions are very welcome on this one. Thanks!   Edited by Sudz

It appears to have been struck through "grease" (compacted die fill). In this case the die fill had a particularly coarse texture. The texture of die fill varies from smooth to very coarse. Thanks, Mr. Diamond, for the analysis and the informative article. I had no idea that the grease involved in die fills could be anything other than smooth. On another note: Mr. Diamond in my very first post ( https://goccf.com/t/141878 ) I presented what turned out to be a fake. At that time you stated that if I didn't want the coin you could put it in your collection of altered and counterfeit coins. Since I was so new I didn't know how to respond. @coop thats exactly what I meant. Last number isn't really clear so it could be from 0-9 yes. Therefore we have 50 (50-59) something for sure. Sorry everyone for the confusion but coop got it!
