From your pics I kind of feel like artificially toned may have been more appropriate for your quarter though I gues it got the ED since the reverse looks untouched. I almost want to say someone probably torched that side

So it took them... 27 business days to grade your coins? Trying to figure out when mine will be posted... 24th of September or something they were received, so... I should see my grades by Halloween at the latest. 27 business days would be halloween exactly, and I should get them back within a week of grades posting, alright...

Yeah, it took several days longer than their stated turn around time, but it was no big deal. I'd rather wait longer and pay half price for grading. OK, so here is the NCS conserved 1889 Morgan dollar close-up mega shots. Honestly, I really like how white this coin appears now. I think they did a great job. At least I know that this coin will not be harmed further down the road.
