larena Valued Member Australia 323 Posts	Posted 09/06/2013 08:19 am Can anyone tell me how this would have happened? both sides of the coin are like this...has a frosted appearance and 'drag' marks over most of the numerals , wording and inner rim of coin... larena Valued Member Australia 323 Posts	Posted 09/06/2013 09:05 am Yes Mr Cruise...I do have one of them with the lettering on the reverse similar....but this one has a very unusual finish to it, whereas the 2001 was normal in that respect. This almost looks like the die moved while it was being printed. I don't know too much about the process, but that is the impression I am getting. Report this Post to the Staff
