Is the first of the "Great Lakes" coins still scheduled for 2013?

Apparently not. Unless they do an 'unofficial' release between now and the end of the year.

Bad news confirmed. All of those 2014 O Canada sets feature a cardboard box.

I feel bad here for flippers - this box type is unprofitable.
And for collectors, who definitively deserve nice box for "entire year" subscription.

According to my representative, the hot coins are:

Fast sell-outs are anticipated for the following coins: the 5 oz. Swimming Beaver, the Caribou, the Iconic Polar Bear, and the Bank Note Saint George Slaying the Dragon.

Looking at the different pictures, I noted, that the Dragon is small creature.
So, without knowing the story behind (if any exists), I might think, that St George feared to find real enemy for the fight, and preferred to "punish" ugly looking beast for someone's else crimes.

Mighty Lion, Grizzly or couple of wolves would destroy the guy and his horse....

Is there anyone else still waiting for their Rep email? This seems over the top in terms of "late".

There is nothing for flippers in this months release. A lot of them are animal related which seems generic since we already seen a lot of them over the years. How many more Polar Bears, Bison, Caribou, and Beaver coins do we need?

I supppose there is the Banknote and Dinosaur coins but those two are selling for below issue price on ebay.

Perhaps Fifa may be a good bet then it has high mintage.

Hunting coin? Is hunting really that popular these days when very few people in the cities go hunting?

I'm undecided. The polar bear is nice. It ticks me off I'm still waiting for my Piedfort and even cancelled my Candy Cane. The shipping delays are turning me off.

The rep is just trying to sell you coins. None of them are "hot".
The first bank note coin is still not sold out; why would it be any different for the 2nd?
Colonial Acres has a whole bunch of 5 oz coins selling for below issue price. I am a bit wary of shelling out $519 for a coin with little chance of appreciation in price.
