OK...A friend bought a large lot of Canadian Large Cents. Total of 450 coins to be exact. All the coins are dated from 1911 - 1920. My questions is...are there any known varieties that I should look for as I have a chance to search them at me leisure. I would like to have an idea of what to look for if there is any know varieties.
I haven't found any varieties for this series yet after a few thousand searched except for a die rotation of about 15 degrees on a 1917. If you find some...please post.
@ Ningcumpoop - I will be sure to post any I find with pics. @ pennyman007 - TY...I'm a constant user of C&C site. I love it. I checked there before posting. They show a few different things but nothing I would consider a variety. :)
I will bring them home to go through and check. I wish there were a few other dates in the lot as well but considering I only have 2 different LC I'm looking forward to checking them out.
Best bet is to look at Griffin and Zoell. There is an interesting 7 and an apostrophe 9 on 1917 and 1919. As a rule there are not near the varieties in this group as you see in Vickies.
