Really surprised that people actual are buying them. 39 of each this morning and there are only 13 bobsleigh and 10 curling left as of now. $780 for a 1/4oz with a 20k mintage.

It's probably 20,000 but the RCM only bought a handful. I didn't read the description of the fu coin. It's surprisingly big. So big it's having trouble fitting in the case properly, a very snug fit. I guess since its only plated they can splurge a little on the material. Great detail on the lettering.

According to the email I received, the 1/4 oz Sochi Golds have a very limited availability at the mint - 39 of each(and 3 of each were already sold)
I don't see them flying off the shelf like the supermans, as they did have a world wide mintage of 20,000.

Received my 2014 World War I silver dollars (proof and brilliant uncirculated) in the mail today (less than two weeks from order to arrival). They're definitely attractive, well-designed coins and a meaningful commemorative of WWI. They're solid additions to my SD collection.

Anyone else notice that they discounted the SOCHI Olympic coins?... marked down from $149.95 to 109.95 I think it said!

Must have happened recently. I was just on there earlier to buy something and they were still for sale.

I got to see the 100 for 100 eagle today and it had a fantastic design. The first thing I noticed was its razor sharp beak. Can't wait to pick one up!

The big problem with that coin is that you have to pay $100.

Just received the Sochi Alpine Skiing. I didn't want the whole set - too expensive, so I selected my favorite winter sport. Anyway, the Mint should take a close look at the way these coins are presented. They come (singly) in a nice wood box, with a COA that has a hologram. The COA looks so much more respectable compared to the latest mint offerings, and the box blows the maroon clam-shells out of the water. I also got a note from my rep today - in the past, as a m/c member, we weren't limited to the number of coins purchased (face value deals) but the new 'Lucky Loonies' I had ordered 5 sets of 5. The new policy is Nobody gets more than the maximum of 3 sets. I'm not sure if this is only for the Lucky Loonies, or all face value deals in the future.

I ordered 10 five packs and will be very disappointed if they cancel or change the order. Of course I can't check on the order because it doesn't appear on the website. lol.
Going forward, I guess they want us to go back to using multiple accounts. Kind of pointless.

That does look like a very nice set up Dcadon. The coa looks like a real coa. As oppose to something like a RCM staff member prints from their cannon ink jet "PRO" Cant believe how fast jan went....feb release soon
