I'm a bit late coming to this thread but that tetradrachm of Agathokles is just jaw-droppingly beautiful.

Here are my two favorite purchases of the year 1796 Liberty Cap Large Cent VG08 BN. I looked a long time to find one I could afford that didn't get a details grade. 1803 Capped Bust half dollar purchased from a CCF member - I love those die clashes and die cracks.

Thanks everyone! Quote: Re posting from SmallEagle...are those for real? Outstanding details and quality for 2000+ year old coins.
Certainly not prying but they must have cost an arm, leg, torso and other bodily parts. Yes, they are real :) And science says I didn't need both of my kidneys, so I figured I'd put one to better use in an ancient coin! (kidding...)

This is the last note I needed for a complete denomination/signature set of Operation Bernhard notes. I need to get working on an exhibit! This picture is off E-Bay. I'll post a clear picture when the note is in hand.

Here is one of my favorites for 2013. PCCG graded 1883 one dollar MS64, but looks like a 65.
