I have louped this every angle possible and there is no way it's PMD, on a couple of the pics you can see where the thread strike curves to the right above the dots and continues in a bit of zig zag form. On the face side of her neck it flows up and over and down the other side in a very uniform fashion. Definitely a struck through thread or hair. Is this a coin worth getting certified and slabbed?

My guess:
Perhaps a small stray piece of wire has managed to get itself between the planchet and the die.

lol Rob, I think it may be a one of a kind here. I followed the thread past the dots across the field to the edge of the rim and it goes into the rim side at the edge of the field and back out heading across the top of the dots.

Would anyone here get this slabbed and could it bring a tidy price based on being so unique? Thank you for any replies received here.

Sel. I checked it out more and it looks like small wire or fibre trails going off the main one that stands out, so you may be right in saying a wire, it would be a braided wire to have caused that (or a thread) if a thread can do that much damage. Thank you for your idea. Cheers.
