o-train Pillar of the Community Canada 519 Posts	Posted 01/29/2014 12:49 pm A plating issue makes sense. I think I've seen pennies like this before but didn't look closely and assumed it was PMD. In hand it kind of looks like someone painted glitter on the coin. I'm going to keep a look out for more. Report this Post to the Staff

o-train Pillar of the Community Canada 519 Posts	Posted 01/29/2014 6:56 pm Thanks for all the responses! It does look a lot like the one with deficient plating. I was looking more closely with the last box I just searched and I noticed examples from 2000, 2004, and 2010. All of those coins were non-magnetic.
