@jsinger21 your right I really shouldn't judge base on the mint's picture, a lot of coins in hand look a lot better then in person. It's hard to illustrate finer detail on picture.
That's sad to hear the untamed series will be finished with this last coin. I just picked up the second coin the pronghorn last month.

I think it will be another cheap month for me, Everything that is for sale this month that I may have wanted will be on sale at the end of the year. I might as well wait ;-)

Can someone who has seen the previews of the new coins describe what the Untamed Canada Wolverine looks like? Thanks!

Quote: Maybe the $20 for $20 will look better in person that on the screen/catalog. Um.. this is from a non cat loving person... I highly doubt that it will looks any better than the picture in the catalog.. edit: I've post some of the pics from the catalog in the other forum...

I am a cat loving person. can say, that nothing better than IOM cat series was minted in silver for a cats. (I specially bought 2 of them - one 2012 for my own F15 collection and the second from different year for my cat kind).
So, regarding the bobcat $20for$20: I expected to it and wanted to buy it, but this one just do not attractive. For me, it the same as "20fo20" "The Wolf" - I do not see here 3 dimensions. Like the people/animals from the bad done 8bit Nintendo video games in the 1990. Do not like it. Will not buy this coin, but hope for other people, that it will be better in hand.

Probably, it personal point of view. I didn't like the Wolf (close to it the "O Canada" Wolf was issued, so it was really well done). But I like the Goose - simple and clear.

No Fine silver Pintail Duck?

@Whitetail Junkie: I think that the fine silver pintail duck coin will be included in this month's releases. They released the mallard/wood duck cupro-nickel coins alongside the silver counterparts in the past, so I am sure it will be included. Although only the cupro-nickel version was shown in the catalogue, I wouldn't count out the silver version from being released :)

The third Ag duck was mysteriously missing from my rep e-mail too. Odd Unfortunately, subs are hamstring my budget; I'm over $400 this month just on subscriptions and won't be getting anything else. I have all of the previous small gold coins - both 1/25th and 0.5g - but I think this is where I stop. I just can't justify buying any more. Call me officially burnt out on the crazy volume of coins pushed out by the RCM.

Nothing of interest for me in the new release.
Looking ahead, I'd be a buyer of a silver version of the "150th Anniversary of the Québec and Charlottetown Conferences" $100 gold coin that was featured in the new catalog (even though it was previously released).

If there were a silver version of the Osprey I'd definitely consider that, but I hate gold. I'm subscribed to the silver ducks series and I'll buy the 25 cent colored Pintail coin, otherwise, nothing for me.

I believe, that "upgrade" of the 1964 Silver Dollar to Proof NCLT version + small changes, could be nice. Although some might say that this is un-accepted replica of existing coin. Added: will we see D-day coin in the summer? Will RCM issue something for 100 Years of Dodge Performance and Heritage?
