Why at Canada post I can see the coins before mc members and get free shipping to plus my post office always get what they order never failed yet going on 7 years.

Not trashing Canadapost.... but you can't get subscription, $20 for $20, $100 for $100 or the new $50 for $50 for what their actual price.. Canada post sell $100 for $100 for $125, $25 for $20 for $20 coin and will sell $55 for $50 for $50 coin...

It also depend on which Canada Post you goes to...Some have more dedicate employee then others.. I've been to some that take your name down and what you want to order down but never bother with it. But then again, I did find some that would goes the extra mile to track down certain coins for you. I once had this lady that called other CP office for me and asked the other Post office to send the coin to her location. Unfortunately she retired :(

It not only Canada post charge extra for the 20 for 20 etc...
they pay what you pay for them no discount .Plus that the only coins I buy at the mint $ 2 and change for shipping , plus they ship at a lost.
100 % better service at Canada post.

Arianzo, I think it was confirmed on page one of this topic, the 50/4/50 were $59.99 at Canada Post. They will however be only $50 at the mint's website.

Anyone see the last Untamed canada coin in person?

I dont like what I see. I got a silver pronger, I will be getting the gold one as well to finish the set, as I already have a gold and silver arctic fox.

but the last coin, I dunno... doesn't look good to me... bummer and to top it off,, they cut the series after only THREE animals.. are you serious?!?!!

yup7676 maybe they cut the series because they don't sell too much, no sold out even in the first coin.
I bought also the 2 first coins....looking to some deal to buy the 3rd coin.

I got the Fox off ebay, total cost including shipping was less then original issue price. When I saw the wolverine, I then decided I wanted all of 'untamed Canada' series.

I am not saying Canadapost did something different from other dealers... but you were asking why the other member bother with keeping MC status and why not just buy it from Canadapost. I am just pointing out those are the reasons why one would want to keep MC membership...

Yea I got my Arctic fox for around 65 shipped USD.. pronghorns are running between 71-81. The slabbed pronghorns are a different animal in terms of price, pun intended.

Still, some GREAT deals to be had by just sitting tight, doing nada and waiting. I saw this, not from an investor viewpoint but as collector. Great savings by waiting to buy on ebay a year later.

I'm going to order a few of the new coins. I'm on "the list" for 2 glass frogs and plan to list them online on a local buy and sell site. I'll be asking issue price plus 5 non-perishable food items I can donate to the food
bank. It's a win-win-win situation. Someone who wants the coin gets it without paying a jack *** flipper extra, I maintain my mc status, and a hungry family gets to eat. I sometimes feel ashamed to have a coin collection while others have a hard time feeding their loved ones. I've made many donations to the food bank by selling coins at or near issue price with a donation being made with the profits.
Opening a can with no label on it and discovering its something your kid actually likes to eat brings a bigger smile to a mothers face than any coin design does to us coin collectors.
