Glad you like it! Too bad many people would rather pay more (or make a profit) than help a stranger out.

What's wrong with making a profit and helping others. I think you should sell your collection and run for pope.

Lol. I'm definitely no saint. I just think its good to help the less fortunate as well as fellow coin collectors get coins at fair and reasonable prices. There's nothing wrong with making money anyway you want, but money isn't everything. When I was a kid, my family was poor. I mean REALLY poor, although my mother helped others whenever she could. That made us rich (without having money). We are all doing much better financially now and I'd like to repay the favor so many thoughtful strangers did for us. Since many of those strangers remain faceless and nameless, its my turn to help others. It's hard to understand unless you've been there. You haven't "lived" until the day you realize money really isn't everything. Anyhow, back to the topic on hand.... the new coins coming out.

The new canopy looks the nicest of the 3 so far but I'm not super impressed with the others from this release. I'm getting 2 glass frogs and the maple canopy but I think that might be it. Anyone know if/when the $50 for $50 coins are coming out? They weren't included in this email pre-order release.

Last year, 2013, I only felt that it "too much", but here it really overflood. This amount and variety from other hand will allow to different circles of collectors to choose the items by the taste.
I am not good in choosing skills (want everything), so haven't decide yet....
Added: Does Canopy appears as "3-rd coin in the 4 coins series"? Now they ruined the series, IMO.

^^^ I agree. They ruined the canopy series. Looks just like the first spring canopy. I already sold my first 2 because making another spring canopy ruined the series for me. Why bother holding on to the first 2 if I don't intend to collect them anymore.
Ill be getting the glass frog and maybe the 50 for 50. That's all

I thought to skip this Canopy and get the next (Summer, Winter), but according the RCM will be only 1 coin more...I'll wait and see. Nanaboozhoo coins - fresh interesting theme, maybe worth to get one? But aren't they just "kitchy"? Mask and Fox probably... The Seven Sacred Teachings - again, nice theme, maybe the coins should be done better. But the case looks like cardboard.

The 1oz Arctic Fox is a bit of ahead scratcher. Last year, there was the 1.5oz Polar Bear bullion followed by the 1.5oz Polar Bear proof ($124.95 and 17.5k mintage).
This year, there is the 1.5oz Arctic Fox bullion and the mint release a 1oz proof version ($89.95 and 7.5k mintage)?
Seems a bit inconsistent unless they continue to downsize the proof versions each year and create a fractional series.
The seven sacred teaching series looks interesting and the design of the box looks good but it appears to be cardboard and for $770 I'd expect wood.
Still I'd say this is the big release of the year. Lots of nice coins.

The series "not just another *****" Printing very nice (on the box), the material is cheap. And the Arctic Fox - looks like they decided to use the existing design, and creating new 1 oz series, in parallel to the "Birds of Prey" 1oz series.

I can't seem to find anything official that says the Maple Canopy series was limited to 4 coins. That said, we might have 10 Spring and 20 Autumn coins and never see a winter or summer.
This is one of those disingenuous series the Mint have taken to introducing. Dissimilar patterns, all too similar designs, no defined end or number of coins etc. etc.
I bought the first two by I'm done with them. Sadly, this series had potential but they dropped the ball IMO.

Quote: I can't seem to find anything official that says the Maple Canopy series was limited to 4 coins. Yes, this is true. I saw the following in the "advance mail": 3-rd issue in the 4 coin seriesI actually do not stick to the seasons theme, but from 4 coins to have almost similar coins for "Spring" ... too silly. If the next (and probably final) will be nice - I will have 3 coins, if not - I'll sell the autumn. Will stay with 1-st, and IMO very nice Spring coin.

What an easy series and topic to design for, yet the RCM destroyed this series with the second coin, today a similar design to the first coin. I guess the RCM just figures we will keep buying anything they produce.
