I was looking through a 1/2 off bin at a recent coin show for fun and saw this Buffalo with a dot/blob under the E in CENTS. It struck my eye, but I have no idea if this is something unique or not?

Has anyone seen this before or know what this is?

Thanks for the feedback. I took a look at 30X and there is a rim ding there, but the blob seems much bigger than the strike to the rim. Regardless, the fact that there is a ding there I think that you are right and this is most likely the cause for the dot. Maybe someday I'll be able to take a better blow-up picture of this area and revisit this coin...Thanks again!!
