I'm 0 for 2 on the RPM's. The Mechanical Doubling had me bowed up. But I think I really have one this time.

If I'm seeing it right, it looks like it might be 1956D-1MM-003 on coppercoins.com, but the close up is a little too fuzzy to tell. Maybe you can check to see if your coin matches any of the markers for that one:

Thanks Dave. I checked it under a microscope and didn't see the markers. But the devices are fairly worn, so I don't know how much I'd see anyway.

The LDS/VLDS die states the RPM at the top gets weaker. Here is what they look like before the wear hits it.

But your eye is improving. At least you spotted that. Now you have a RPM to start your collection with. I bought another BU 003 on ebay and there was no image of the RPM. When I got it, it was like your weak, but it was BU.
