Ooh! Creative little one when it comes to finding an excuse isn't she?

Yes, she definitely sounds like a nice girl for her offering to come take care of you. And it sure sounds like you love her.

But who knows how far her, obviously intelligent and resourceful, mind will get her into trouble if the lesson of right and wrong is not taught at this tender age?

In the same circumstance I know I would have ended up giving her the coins also, but she would have had to apologize not knowing she was going to get them, and then have to properly ask me for them (how can we older guys little refuse kids?). It brings them closer to you this way, helps instill in them something to help them later in life, and is win/win (former teacher in me showing I guess).
