Ok, here we go again...... I'm seeing definate doubled arrowheads on this 1902-O Morgan. It's also the two-olive reverse variety. The lower cotton leaves on the obverse are also doubled (tripled).

Here's a pic of the lower cotton leaves. They look tripled to me.

So, whadda' ya' think? Doubled arrowheads, tripled cotton leaves, or just Machine Doubling? If this is a new VAM, how would I go about registering it?

Thanks,

Rick

I can't really help you much on whether it is Machine Doubling or not. But I also see the doubling on the arrow, so your not crazy.

Well, thanks to the good folks at VAMworld

http://vamworld.wikispaces.com

this one turned out to be a VAM-42. I looked closer, and it has a doubled eyelid.

Heck, they even used my pictures on the 1902-VAM Description Page!

I didn't see this thread before now. Yup, class 4, offset hub doubled die. Minor, but it is one.
