Mmm Mmm Harvey's I love their toppings!! It's the one thing I miss certain fast food outlets. We have only a handful of fast food places. All are on the opposite side of town on the hwy going toward Jasper National Park. Harvey was one of my favorite places.
I'm in the valley and there's only 2 small restaurants. Our movie theatre burn down 4 yrs ago. So we have to go either jasper or Edson both with smaller population. We are a few hundred shy of official city status. Lack of Shopping & fast food suck. I'm so glad for Internet shopping!!

Like the Wendy's too.
Asked about coin, but probably the branch near me didn't get any. At least enjoyed the meal.

The Batman (75 Anniversary) "should be hot" coins on APMEX

Silver affordable beauty:
http://www.apmex.com/product/85655/...rs-of-batman

Gold amazing'n'hot:
http://www.apmex.com/product/86597/...ed-by-miller

Minted by Sunshine Mint for Niue, Pure Silver 2oz , cheaper than RCM.
The coins are Proof and no colour, like serious collectors prefer
The mintage is only 7.500 (silver) , less than for all Superman and Disney's
COA signed by Miller!

Comes with great case and pin.

Wow!
The question only, how many and where in Canada to buy?

Added:
paid attention to the elements of the design: possible to say that the coin has 2 Privy marks: "Batman Logo" and "Stylized 75-th anniv. logo"

Niue isn't Canada and Batman isn't Superman...
750 is low, but it should be enough to satisfy collector demand.
I thought about buying one, but then decided to leave it.

I am still on the fence about silver coin.
The fact that distract me - private mint can put whatever on the coin. So I see some uniqueness of the coin, and I like the character....but you know, now it is Batman, tomorrow will be "My Little Pony"

Although the Sunshine mint makes most of the gold planchets for US mint, and Johnson Matthay silver bars, these Batman coins in my opinion will become any items produced like the famous Franklin mint, and will become bullion value.

Still I have learn and learn...

So which Mint issue Batman will you consider to buy?
What this coin doesn't have to be compared to the 2013 Superman issue by RCM?

Where's the Joker when we need him?

Just another pair of gimmicky coins designed to cash in on something completely unrelated to the world's tiniest independent nation (population approximately 1,600).

I bet the Penguin is behind this scam.

Better yet let's call in the Riddler to rid us of these nonsensical coins.

Strong letter to follow...

Sorry Silveroid I missed your question.

My answer it these coins have absolutely NO relevance to Nuie, Batman and serious coin collectors.

Canadians who collect or collected or just read Superman comics can relate very well to the RCM's offerings. I know I do.

Even stronger letter to follow...

From APMEX description:

APMEXclusive®! APMEX is your direct North American source for this 1/4 oz .9999 fine Gold coin celebrating 75 years of Batman with exclusive access to the entire mintage of just 750 coins!

Need to say, that at least here RCM does well:
as I remember, all the minted coins have some Canada relation (even the "Glass Creatures" introduce our Canadian creatures).
But, there are few examples, the "whatever non related to the Mint on the coin" becomes to be hot:
"Mickey Mouse from New Zealand"
"Ancient Gods from Australia"

Do the fans of superheroes even care, where from comes shiny silver round with their hero on it?
Well, that's basically difference between "super hero fan/collector" and "coin collector"...

Added:
At the end decided not to buy the silver one. Hope, will not be disappointed due to this decision.
Thanks to all, who tried to answer and replied.
