Hey I found this penny today looks kinda weird the left side looks bigger then the other side is it more valuable?  Edited by Matt007pl

From the photo you posted it looks like a normal cent to me. Can you explain which part looks bigger?

With the bigger pic I see now. Is the other side centred? If it is, then it looks like a slightly misaligned die. It's too small for any premium though.

I must agree. A PENNY that says "In God We Trust" and "Liberty" with a bust of Lincoln does sound odd.  |

seriously...the die was offset..not worth more than 1-cent
as explained to me...a common error. not worth anything

Hi Matt. I think what you are asking about is the left side of the obverse rim has a higher edge to it than the right side of the rim. This is called finning and is caused by stronger striking pressure. When the fin is high then it is a collectable error but when it is small like this coin then it has no premium.
