I still don't see why you are flogging this bloke like I said before why not help this company get better and you wont have to send the coins overseas no rocket science in that heck of a good country when you can still have a opinion and not get shot

how about APCGS thinking of an original name ,rather than trying to piggy back/ fool people by using a VERY SIMILAR NAME TO PCGS , seeing as they want to be original and australian ,how about a different name , here is a few ideas for starters ASLAB, AGRADE ,ANUMI any one care to add any different names

I'm with you, Shanew, and quite frankly, I couldn't give a stuff about the name. However, I'm sure that most forum members would like to see proof positive that this organisation is growing to become more accountable, and is taking steps to become more reputable, and I'm also sure that if this were the case, more forum members, and the "light" side of the numinastic community would be eager to support this mob. However, all we are seeing is suggestive innuendo. If the supporters/graders/owners are reading these posts, It's painfully clear what they need to do. Until that happens, they are by now, fully aware, of why there is opposition to their operations.

Quote: sorry I should of said the informed in the coin community do not waste their time with the guide I agree PNC King I dont use the book as a price guide any more and instead refer to the Bluesheet which is updated regularly from actual sales. If you're looking to buy something it's best to do your own research as well by checking recent sales and reading any blogs available

Blue sheet.. Macdonalds book...coin and banknote mag...auction houses... Are reference ... A high percentage of coin sold are not published so these reference don't know exact prices... E.g ...coin shows...private sales...Facebook pages.. So it's up to the buyer and seller what the price is...

And I know apcgs don't use Macdonalds book for valuation because I have had couple of coins valued and none of the valuation are any where near the Macdonalds book ... Eg 2007 missing mint mark dollar coin...double header 5c coin...and the list go on..

I can see they are attempting to fill the niche market occupied in the USA by NNC. ANNC would be a good name for them.

I keep hoping that a leopard will change its spots but PCGS still slabs coins that have been highly polished.I saw 5 absolute rubbish coins on ebay in their latest slab. They were so heavily polished that they wouldn't get a "cleaned" designation on the slab at a reputable TPG but would be bodybagged. Did I say PCGS? Sorry, but many APCGS coins are listed as A PCGS (the space makes those who search for PCGS also see the imposters). Horrible cleaned coins, copycat name, shonky eBayers using their "service". Does not inspire confidence.

I have looked at the items for sale on ebay and the items that have ended and still can't see any. No good making up anything without proof, latest slab has a green label. It's like me saying I saw you last night running around topless in a skirt 4 times without any proof.
