That is awesome! Yeah I noticed your 1883-O V1C2 LDS, which is envious! Would not mind seeing some photos of the right wing tip ;)

I'll include it in Sundays post of 1883's. I've got six examples of VAM1C from 1C1 EDS to 1C2 LDS.

Closest match is V49, but the plate photos appear to be different. LVA may have to see this soon now that I've got a new 1898-O variety to send him... LVA is the discoverer of the VAM 49 so I would think that he may have the DC to compare. Here are a few photos for comparison sake:

The rust patches are a match, even the tip of the adjacent star that points at the denticles matches.
