MorganCoinFan New Member 8 Posts	Posted 07/30/2014 4:33 pm Out of all the places where one could find a 1909 VDB, I found one in the Lincoln and Kennedy commerative set in my grandfather's collection. There is also a brilliant toned 1943 Steel cent but unfortunately it does show signs of age. I'll try and post pictures at some point. What's the most unusual location you found a classic coin? ExoGuy Pillar of the Community United States 4421 Posts	Posted 07/30/2014 7:50 pm My first coin was one that Dad found in an old, discarded trunk. It was a 1795 Dollar, three leaves, in AG condition. I traded it with a local pastor for a number of old type coins; those being the start of my coin collection. I seem to recall that it "booked" $40 in 1956. Report this Post to the Staff
