I am getting her the Winnipeg Ballet coin for her birthday as she is big into ballet. I'll just buy from CCC and pay the premium as I don't really care about the $15 above issue price.

5oz-Big-Coin-Series

A couple pics including one with my new antique desk which I just got for $200. The coin is worth more than twice as much as the 80 year old oak desk Didn't have a loonie in my pocket and used the quarter for perspective.

It's a very sharp looking coin. I'm enjoying the photo, too bad they've cheaped out on packaging the individual coin. I don't think a wooden display is too much to ask when paying $549. Congrats on your purchase.

I love the wooden desk. It makes a better display.

But there is a wooden display for this series? It will be a big box to hold these 6 big coins.

@yellowperch: Nice desk! Have you check for secret compartment? There might be something good hidden.

That's the only thing that could make that loon look small

Some will ask... Which one will hold it's value? The 6+ or the giant loon? No one can tell at this point in time, but I am quite sure 10 years from now, the giant loon will still be the beauty among the two.

I have the old iPhone 4 S and I love it! I haven't bothered using a computer since I got it! I do all my ebay on it. There's a great scanning app works great for coin photos. I also enjoy using the cheap Chinese camera accessories for taking photos of coins. I don't even know where my digital camera is. My iPhone is used heavily and has stood up well to 2.5 yrs of punishment, including falling into a creek, no issues after. I hope you enjoy your new phone!

Hi everyone,

Haven't been on here for a while so I thought I would get back into some conversation. This is a nice looking set of coins, but sure is pricey for the set.

How does everyone feel about the price?

It would be great if they came out with a 1 Oz silver set, for the average collector. Would people be interested in this?
