There is fluid right over the Tiara crack, it shows up as a dark area in the BW photos It has the Tiara crack 1 to Neck crack and the split between 1 and 9. Three questions: 1) Can acetone safely dissolve the hardened fluid? 2) Is the coin's scarred state enough to diminish a VAM quality? 3) What, if any does a VAM designation to the value of the coin? It's going to be a bit of a long job, though - it could take a few days to safely dissolve the glue. It does not react with metal, and will remove most adhesives and paints and inks. I would have that girl bathing away. Report this Post to the Staff
