Wow, Priscus Attalus. That doesn't strike me as an irresponsible purchase, more like a brilliant investment if you can afford it.

This is still the coin I paid the most for, I tend not to seek out the more expensive coins when buying:

Macrianus Minor, usurper 260-261AD.

They aren't super expensive and I no longer own the coin, If I remember rightly I sold it for around £1 more than I paid having had it for about 5 years, its still my avatar.

Strange how you don't seem to have a Leo I though... I've lately felt that his coins are a lot less rare than the reports say.

I mean, I have a Leo I coin, and I paid maybe six bucks for it...
