Trying to learn correct terminology for mint errors. On this 35 silver dollar, would the area on the rim where it is separated be called a lamination error? Also there is a solid piece of metal between the bottom of the canoe and the WL. What is this known as? What would be the cause of these? Hope some of our more knowledgable members can help.
Nothing note worthy, I see this often. I think it was just how they were struck. Here is the most recent 1935 I sold, you can see the same thing on the rims.
