Getting ready to purchase this coin but was wondering if you agree with the grade that I believe it is, I am still learning how to grade though so I could be wrong.

I believe that it is between a VF-30 and a VF-35, do you agree? Thanks

This might help:

I am leaning towards VF25 because of the wear on the shield and face.

Yeah, too much wear for a 30.

I'm at VF20-25.

Thanks, I was using the PCGS Photograde to help me determine what grade I thought it is. I went back and looked again and the area where the robe drapes across her stomach looks like a VF-30 but the shield looks more like VF-25. This is where I have a little trouble grading, I think the coin is one grade higher than it really is, the price seems a little high for a VF-20 to Vf-25 but not to much.

SLQ's and Buffalo are T-O-U-G-H to grade. :)

VF-25, but I don't put any real confidence in that, SLQ's are crazy hard to grade.

SLQ's are actually pretty easy to grade. The vertical band of Liberty's body is the highest area of the obverse, and along with the shield/breast area wears at a predictable rate. Same goes for the wings, eagle's left (viewer's right) first and the other wearing so much later (as evidenced by this coin) that a grading progression is easy. At a glance: vertical band from 12 to 6 obverse, and the wings. That's all you need.
